INTERNATIONAL WILDLIFE FELLOWSHIP FOUNDATION, PRETORIA SOUTH AFRICA
This program was established in partnership with the Safari Club International Foundation with the resources provided by the Ellen and Larry Bell Humanitarian Emergency Relief Fund. SCI Foundation and Amy Bell Charities work with Retha Van Der Merwe; Executive Director of the IWF Foundation based in Pretoria, South Africa. They are focused on providing Food Aid to children in this area through the donation of meat harvested by their members. They also provide basic food aid items that are noted by their members and donors. Through this partnership we are providing funding to provide supplemental resources to IWFF to support this food aid distribution in some of the most poverty-stricken communities in this region. Thousands of meals a month are being distributed by Retha and her team to vulnerable children in daycare centers, rehab facilities for severely disabled children, homeless shelters, and squatter camps.
